S-8172S is a SWIT patented product of separable design, which can be split into 2 parts of total 160Wh capacity, with a D-tap socket for camera light or other equipments. It has a 4-level LED indicator to give you a view of remaining power before mounting to camera, and a connecting shoe for wireless receiver S-7002. The build-in intelligent circuit has multiple protections of abnormal current, voltage and temperature.
The Li-ion contents of each part of S-8172S comply with the IATA safe air transportation regulations. Before taken to airplane or shipped as air cargo, it should be split into 2 parts to meet the IATA rules, and the 2 parts should be reassembled when power the camera after air transportation.
